Bangladesh paceman Mustafizur Rahman attained his career-best ranking after a creditable performance in the just-concluded three-match one-day International series against New Zealand.
Though the Tigers lost the series to the Kiwis by 0-3, Mustafiz grabbed four wickets by playing in two matches.
For his decent show, Mustafiz, who was recently named as the ICC Emerging Cricketer of the Year for 2016, has moved up 19 places to be ranked 29th in the ICC Player Rankings for ODI Bowlers.
The left-arm bowler took two for 62 in the first match in Christchurch and two for 32 in the final match in Nelson.
There was also ranking boost for few other players as Mosaddek Hossain moved 37 places to 133 in the ranking for batsmen while Taskin Ahmed jumped eight places to 78th in bowlers’ ranking.
Bangladesh lost four rating points for their 3-0 defeat in the series but still retained their seventh place with 91 points.
