Shakib Al Hasan will begin preparing for the second innings of his international career in September from the very place his cricketing journey began, the BKSP, where he planned to start training for his comeback to the game after suspension.
Cricket advisor of BKSP and longtime coach Nazmul Abedin Fahim confirmed New Age that Shakib will be practicing in BKSP from September, a month before the ban imposed on him by the ICC ends.
‘From September, Shakib will start training at BKSP. Beside the cricket coaches, coaches from other sports like boxing and athletics will also help him. He will use the gym and all the facilities,’ said the childhood mentor of Shakib.
