Legends of Rupganj finished as runners-up in the Dhaka Premier League after they beat Prime Bank Cricket Club by 88 runs in their last super league match in Mirpur on Tuesday.
Opener Mohammad Naim struck his successive hundred, making 136 off 130 balls while Mehedi Maruf and Mominul Haque scored 54 and 52 runs respectively that guided Rupganj to post 327-4 in their stipulated overs.
In reply, Prime Bank was bundled out for 239 runs in 42.1 overs despite Nahidul Islam scoring 74 off 57 balls.
Pacer Mohammad Shahid finished with 4-22 while Nabil Samad and Muktar Ali bagged two wickets each for Rupganj.
In the other super round match in Fatullah, Prime Doleshwar secured a narrow three-run win over Mohammedan Sporting Club to finish third in the league.
Sent into bat first, Doleshwar scored 274-6 after Farhad Hossain (89), Shykat Ali (65) and Saif Hassan (55) all struck fifties for their side.
In reply, Mohammad Ashraful made his season highest 76 off 97 balls while Nihaduzzaman made unbeaten 35 off 19 balls as the 10th batsman but they eventually failed to score 10 runs in the final over, finishing on 271-9 to finish sixth in super round.
